The Israeli ambassador, His Excellence Aviv Shir-On, presented the winner’s plaque to Sensius after a pitching contest at the brand new Merckspace building in Amstelveen. A jury chaired by Annegien Blokpoel recognized Sensius as a company with a solution for an acute challenge for society and a well thought through business model.
Israel is recognized globally as the “Start-Up Nation”, a major hub for technology and innovation. Jerusalem is one of the fastest growing tech hubs and an exciting place for entrepreneurs, a home base for Israel’s leading companies, investors and academic institutions.
The award will enable Sensius to join in an intensive 5-day program in Jerusalem to interact with the entire ecosystem in medtech. “Sensius is honored with this recognition” says Paul van den Biggelaar, CEO of Sensius, “this is an excellent opportunity to meet with the innovative health system in Israel and present our proposition to the investment community in Jerusalem. We are proud to get the opportunity to participate.”
